Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to supervise visitations. Child victim advocates will be screened and trained to oversee visits between children and their non-custodial parents. A few hours a month and a sincere desire to help a family in need can do wonders for a child seeking comfort. Please call for more information.
All volunteers who have contact with children will be required to obtain a criminal history background check.

Safe Connections' Wish List
A desktop or a laptop computer for our custodial waiting area. This would be available for parents to apply for assistance and search for community resources.
A small refrigerator (dorm size) for our custodial parent waiting area.
Window treatments for a multitude of windows.
A counter top oven, since we have had to remove the stove or put in commercial venting ($$$).
Magazines and books for our waiting parents. We like to have parenting and family magazines and we keep a library of parenting, inspirational, help (Divorce, overcoming trauma, etc) as well as informational books (simple household budgeting, fix it, how to, etc.).
TV and DVD's for custodial waiting room.
